A woman in MATHARE Slum cleaning her hands due to Corona Virus

If COVID-19 plague could hit one of the Nairobi slum, then it will be game over. For instance, there is no running water in some parts of Mathare Constituency and to make the matter worse, we live in crowded places. How can one wash his/her hands and distance him/herself?
Do not misquote me when I say, we have the worst healthcare system. It’s high time we should have an emergency fund.
Kenyans in the slum are too indiscipline to self isolate. how can you self isolate in the midst of poverty, hunger and unemployment?
How can you self isolate while you are living in a single room as an extended family?

August 2, 2017
By

I once read The Late Ken Saro Wiwa’s story “AFRICA KILLS HER SUN”. The story is of great provocation and teachings to many because, The Kenya of today is not the Kenya of 1990’s. Why am I saying this? Am saying this because nowadays people are so much enlightened and informed through social media...
