Ever since Covid-19 pandemic was announced to have invaded various parts of our country Kenya, no reports were announced in Mathare until yesterday 4th May 2020 when one person who is suspected to be a victim of the virus was found in Huruma Ward near Mathare Constituency CDF hall. The Covid-19 suspect is said to be an employee in Eastleigh.
Now that the virus has hit Mathare and the issue of social distancing is not practical due to high population, it’s up to the people of Mathare to be more adherent to the precautionary measures announced by the government concerning the Covid-19.
