The worst thing that we always do is to bury our heads in the sand. Sometimes it’s good to learn from the past. During 2007/2008 Post Election Violence, Many people across the country lost their lives because of politics. On Sunday (26th March 2017) one person lost his life when two groups clashed. A bodyguard of a parliamentary aspirant, Mathare Constituency was stabbed to death by a group of people believed to be supporters of a Member of County Assembly. As a result of this five people including an MCA were arraigned in court for murder charges. They were accused to have been behind the death of Dan Omollo alias Dantez.  The culprits were ordered by the court to give a Cash Bail of Three Hundred Thousand and Surety of one million each.

A couple of weeks ago, two people were killed in Ruaraka Constituency following a clash between two politicians.

The question is: In as much as we might be in different political camps, do you think it is justifiable for us as voters to shed blood for our politicians?
